  • Amanda Moreno, PhD- Brain Breaks Lab

  • Worked on a project assessing the impact of ‘brain breaks’ on attention and learning consolidation in children grades K-2

  • Managed scheduling of data collection sites, timings, and sessions

  • Coordinated communication between PI, schools, and participants 

  • Collected data in schools

  • Maintained logs of various information, including data, communications, schedules, etc

  • Worked on a range of projects involving; developing and testing tech to support behavioral health (e.g., physical activity, mortality reflection), assessing motivation and occupational health among U.S. physicians, assessing volunteer motivation and well-being on the peer-to-peer mental health support site 7 Cups of Tea

  • Hand coded Tweets for developing a supervised machine learning algorithm to detect racism, misogyny, Islamophobia 

  • Cleaned and analyzed data using R Studio

  • Conducted in-depth literature searches and generated topical annotated bibliographies

  • Developed a research project about mortality under supervision of Dr. Moller
